What file types are supported?
Autodesk Tandem currently supports Revit 2017 and later, as well as IFC files when uploading models. We are utilizing Autodesk Platform Services to ingest design data and over time will support other Autodesk formats. Specific formats and timing will be driven by customer input.
What languages is Autodesk Tandem available in?
Autodesk Tandem is currently available worldwide in English only. We plan to incrementally release updates in other languages as the product develops.
What can I do with my IFC model in Tandem?
You can interact with filters, properties, and other capabilities, leveraging IFC model elements. You can also review assets by space and apply parameters by template against IFC model elements. At this stage, you can’t output IFC data.
How does Tandem relate to other Autodesk initiatives like Autodesk Platform Services and Hyperion?
Autodesk Platform Services is a cloud-based developer platform where Autodesk Tandem is an application built with many of the capabilities provided through Autodesk Platform Services. Autodesk Tandem is incorporating the functionality of components like data visualization (Hyperion) and surface workflows that leverage this functionality.
